The 4th Annual Sanur Village Festival is coming in several more weeks. Mark your calendar on 12-16 August 2009 and make sure you are one of the people to witness the most fascinating event in Bali. Held in Mertasari Beach for the first time, the event will surely give you so much amusement with various activities, like arts, music, sports, and many more. This is the event that has been longed for by all of Sanur community and all the festival fanatics.

Every year, Sanur Village Festival produces booklet which include the complete details of the programs with ” Marine Life” as the theme. With its versatility, attractive design and compact size, it's an ideal media to promote any kinds of business more effectively. The 10.000 copies of the booklet will be distributed in more than 80 interest points in addition to the distribution throughout the festival. Last year more than 15.000 people attending Sanur Village Festival and with this year's new venue and concept, the booklet will definitely be enpanded into more people.

On the 12 th until the 16 th of August 2009 Indonesian Chef Association ( ICA ) - Bali will hold the 7 th Culinary Challenge that will be held in participation for the 4 th Sanur Village Festival. This challenge will be participated by all chef's in Bali and other provinces in Indonesia where this is an artistic competition that will show off the skill's and ability of the chef.  The 7 th Culinary Challenge will open 08.00 – 18.00 for public which will have the opportunity to witness the skill's of the chef's in cooking and their skill's in ice, fruits and vegetables, and butter carving, making gebogan, and cooking Balinese suckling pig in the traditional way.

I can't think of any other festival that is more intimate than Sanur Village Festival. I know that there are also good festivals out there, but Sanur has brought an event that makes us so comfortable and feel as if Sanur is our home. Last year was the first time I went to the event and I definitely will not miss this year's festival. One of my favorite activities was the photography competition, in which I found so many interesting pictures from the talented photographers. Also, I love the fact that they have incredible food stalls in the food festival. There is always some food to try while enjoying myself with the many program varieties in Sanur Village Festival.
