Mayor’s message:
This year, the city of Denpasar will be honored as the host of the spectacular National Flower & Plants Week 2011. Held in Batam last year, this year's event will run from November 18 to 22 at Jalan Pantai Matahari Terbit in Sanur. The expo will be the essential networking event for all those involved in the horticulture business.

The event will also be very special this year because it will be merged with the Denpasar Horticulture Festival 2011, as well as the annual Sanur Village Festival 2011. This is a unique opportunity that will really help to boost the city’s image as a tourism destination, alongside the Sanur Village Festival’s celebration of the arts, cuisine and culture. We hope you will join us!

The Sanur Village Festival has been held since 2006, organized by the Yayasan Pembangunan Sanur (Sanur Development Foundation). This year will be a unique occasion, since merging with the Denpasar Horticulture Festival presents us with a chance to showcase more attractions, more visitors and to present Sanur and the city of Denpasar as a fabulous tourist destination.
 
We are honored to hold the festival in conjunction with the National Flower & Plants Week 2011. There really won’t be a better event this year to put the area on the map, and to stimulate the local economy and get noticed. Do join us at this special event!
